Tooth Detection on Jaw 3D Computer Polygonal Model
Hulík, Rostislav ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This document discusses a concept and implementation of algorithms for teeth detection on 3D polygonal jaw model. At first, I describe possible shape detection techniques on three dimensional computer model, including utilization just in my case. After it, I analyze filtration problems of obtained model segments in order to reliably separate regions of tooth-arch from the rest of jaw. I included all these pieces of knowledge into a final application. Here, it is possible to choose from two user interfaces, first, classic user interface which demonstrates possible utilization in real world and second, testing interface which demonstrates functions of each detection and filtration method used in program and their effect on detection. Application is written in C++ language in development environment of MS Visual Studio 2005 and compiled with MS VS internal compiler. Tested was under MS Windows XP and MS Windows Vista OS.
CAD System for 2D Drawing
Hübner, Lukáš ; Kubíček, Radek (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis considers the characteristics of a computer aided design. It specifies the typical methods used for drawing in this sort of programs. Practical part is an application for 2D drawing, which implements some of the specified methods. There is described a concept and an implementation of the application with Qt and Open Scene Graph libraries.
Set of Simple 3D Games
Vrána, Michal ; Štancl, Vít (referee) ; Pečiva, Jan (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is Open Scene Graph graphic library and its usability in standard practice. More specifically, the goal of this project was creating set of demo applications, tutorials to them and one computer game testing possibilities of Open Scene Graph. Text of this technical report includes description of Open Scene Graph, its comparison to other graphic libraries, description of some techniques used in tutorials and in game, and description of implementation.
3D Volume Rendering Data Visualization
Kazík, Jiří ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
Theoretical part of this project is focused on rendering of volumetric data. It compares and appraise individual methods and thus readers get a good basic knowledge of commonnest causes of problems. Texture Mapped Volume Rendering is described in detail, because it is used in implementation of graphic system designed in this thesis. Whole system is created with maximal attention to platform independence. C++ language and Open Scene Graph toolkit are used for realization, so a brief description of OSG toolkit is also present in this work.

Texture Mapped Volume Rendering and Volume Ray-casting methods are described in detail and the latter method is used in implementation of graphic system designed in this thesis. Secondary goals of this work are usage of less powerful hardware for volume-rendering, methods of optimization and dynamic change of output quality.
